Standardise address formats and improve search precision across the platform

Overview

Address handling is foundational to the FTS Platform - every project is tied to a property address. This feature group standardises the address format and improves search precision so staff and clients can find projects quickly and accurately.

Business Value

Inconsistent address formats create confusion and duplicate records. When a search returns too many or too few results, staff waste time scrolling or re-searching. Standardising on a single format (Lot Number, House Number, Street Address) aligns with Victorian property conventions and reduces data quality issues.

Features

Address Format Standardisation

Standardise the address format across the platform to: Lot Number, (House Number), Street Address.

The search functionality should be precise to the address being typed - partial matches should be relevant, not noisy. This issue was initially raised in June 2024 and re-raised in December 2025.

Project Status Display

Project status is not showing core milestones correctly and is glitching across different projects. The status display needs to reliably show the current milestone for every project without visual artefacts.
